Alexa CO₂ Aesthetic fractional CO₂ laser platform with articulated arm

Three resurfacing strategies

Three resurfacing strategies. One CO₂ platform.

Alexa is not simply another fractional CO₂ laser. By setting depth and density, the clinician chooses which level of the skin to work at — and can combine both in one plan.

01

Surface-focused fractional resurfacing

Shallow fractional columns for texture, tone, fine lines and early photoaging. Lighter recovery, often planned as a series.

Deep: illustrative schematic of fractional treatment columns in skin, not to scaleEpidermisPapillary dermisReticular dermisDEEP

02

Deeper fractional remodeling for scars and texture

Deeper columns for acne scars, surgical scars, etched lines and advanced photoaging — with careful patient selection.

Hybrid: illustrative schematic of fractional treatment columns in skin, not to scaleEpidermisPapillary dermisReticular dermisHYBRID

03

A combined strategy across more than one depth

A plan that pairs surface-focused and deeper treatment to address more than one tissue level within one strategy.

Illustrative schematics, not to scale. Actual depth and density are set by the clinician for the indication, skin type and consented recovery, and are taught in clinical training. See the technology

Why CO₂

Tissue water is the target.

At 10,600 nm, CO₂ energy is very strongly absorbed by water. Because skin is water-rich, the energy turns into heat precisely where the beam lands.

  • Vaporization

Delivered quickly enough, tissue water flashes to vapour and a micro-volume of tissue is removed — the resurfacing effect.

  • Resurfacing

Fractional delivery leaves intact skin between columns so healing starts from those islands; ablative delivery removes a continuous layer.

  • Controlled thermal effect

Residual heat around each column coagulates protein and drives collagen remodeling. The operator controls the balance.

  • Soft-tissue workflows

Focused, the beam incises or excises; defocused, it vaporizes and coagulates — with hemostatic support.

Why practices choose Alexa

Scar remodeling

Scar correction requires more than surface-level treatment.

Scars are structural. Fractional CO₂ creates controlled treatment zones that support remodeling of scarred, uneven tissue.

  • Acne scars: atrophic, rolling, boxcar
  • Surgical and traumatic scars: texture and blending
  • Selected body scars
  • Adjustable density and depth for the scar and skin type

CO₂ laser buyer’s guide

What is Alexa CO₂ Aesthetic?

Alexa CO₂ Aesthetic is Pro 1 Laser’s professional 10,600 nm fractional and ablative CO₂ platform for resurfacing, scar remodeling, selected soft-tissue procedures, and two specialty pathways: Alexa Femme™ and Alexa Follicle™.

What is the difference between Shallow, Deep and Hybrid?

They are three ways to plan treatment with Alexa’s depth and density controls: surface-focused for texture and tone, deeper for scars and etched lines, or a combined plan across both. Exact parameters are taught in clinical training against verified protocols.

Is Alexa CO₂ Health Canada licensed?

Yes. Alexa holds Medical Device Licence 114909 (“ALEXA FRACTIONAL CO2 LASER THERAPY SYSTEM”, Class III), which you can verify in Health Canada’s public MDALL database.

How much does Alexa CO₂ Aesthetic cost?

The manufacturer-direct price is $49,950 CAD (MSRP $89,900 CAD). Configuration, handpieces, taxes and delivery are confirmed on a written quotation.

Is financing available?

Yes — lease-to-own from $799/month OAC. Payment depends on configuration, term and credit approval.

Is training included?

Yes. Pro 1 Laser supports every placement with onboarding, clinical training, protocol guidance and ongoing support.

Can Alexa treat acne scars?

Fractional CO₂ is used to remodel atrophic, rolling and boxcar acne scars in selected patients. Scars are structural; the plan depends on skin type and clinical judgment.

Who is Alexa CO₂ designed for?

Aesthetic clinics, med spas, dermatology, plastic surgery, physicians and multidisciplinary practices that want a premium CO₂ platform with multiple treatment pathways.
